Who am I?

Who am I?

It may seem like a simple question, but it’s not always the easiest to answer. Other questions quickly follow: Who do others think I am? How do they see me? How do I want them to see me? What is my role in this world? Who do I want to be? Our answers to these questions directly influence our lives – our decision making, our actions, and how we interact with those around us. The problem is that each one of those questions reflects a focus on ourselves and the opinions of other people. A better question for us to ask is, “Who does God say I am?” In answering that question from his Word we find undisputable truth. That is what we will seek to do during the sermon series that will begin June 6th.

My Identity in Christ:
-I am valuable
-I am connected
-I am God’s child
-I am a citizen of heaven
-I am strong
-I am Christ’s ambassador
